EQUINOX 900 Multi-IQ Multifrequency Technology

The first metal detector to feature Multi-IQ Multifrequency technology and operate on all frequencies simultaneously.

The Equinox 900 has 4, 5, 10, 15, 20 and a 40 KHz search frequency. You can choose to search on a single frequency or on Multi-IQ. The Equinox 900 searches on all frequencies simultaneously. The advantage of a low 5 KHz frequency is that the metal detector has a larger depth range. The advantage of a 40 KHz search frequency is that the detector is more sensitive to small parts and gold (nuggets). Multi-IQ technology combines the best of all five frequencies!

Waterproof to 5 meters Fully waterproof to 5 meters underwater, suitable for fresh and salt water, even probing in the rain is no problem with the Equinox 900.

Search modes

Whether you’re swinging in the goldfields or snorkeling on the beach, the Equinox 900 knows no bounds and finds all the targets and masters any terrain. The Equinox 900 has 8 search modes. 2 search modes for parks, 2 for fields, 2 for beaches and 2 for gold hunting. These 8 programs can be set at will and are also saved. In addition, it has a quick button for a custom program, which you can also set as desired. Finally, you can save 9 programs.

Built-in Bluetooth including ML-85 Bluetooth headphones

The Minelab Equinox 900 has built-in Bluetooth and comes with ML-85 Low Latency Bluetooth headphones
. There is also a waterproof 3.5 mm jack connector for optional cable headphones or underwater headphones. In addition, the volume can be adjusted directly via the control unit.

Built-in Li-ion battery

The Equinox 900 has a built-in Li-Ion battery which is located in the handle, which is rechargeable via magnetic USB port. The battery life is about 10 – 12 hours. You can also charge the Equinox via USB via a power bank during the search, so you can search and charge at the same time!

Weight, 2 search coils and ground adjustment

The ground balancing can be carried out both automatically and manually. Manual soil balancing is important for difficult soil conditions or highly mineralized soils. You can also set the device to tracking. Then the Equinox 900 automatically adapts to the ground.

Reaction speed

The reaction speed of the Equinox can be adjusted in 8 steps. If you set the value low, you get a maximum search depth; if you set it high, you can easily see closely spaced objects separated from each other. With the Equinox 900, you’ll never miss an object again

Object identificatio

The Equinox 900 has object identification with conductive values, which you can read on the clear and concise display. The conductance values run from -19 to 0 for iron objects and from 1 to 99 for the detection of more valuable objects, with silver objects having higher conductance values and gold objects having a medium-high conductance. Of course, you can also hide the iron objects from -19 to 0 with the discrimination function. The horseshoe button allows you to quickly and easily turn iron discrimination on and off
